Scenic Float Trips on Historic Willow Creek Join us for a relaxing 3-hour float down one of Alaska's most scenic rivers. Willow, Alaska is the historic site of many gold mining stagings, and the active mine in Hatcher Pass was supplied by the railroad and hauled up Hatcher Pass, starting right here in Willow. Learn about the natural history, and get an opportunity to view Alaska's wildlife active on the river. A great day-trip from Anchorage and Palmer/Wasilla, we offer morning and afternoon floats, and during the month of June we also offer an evening float to enjoy the midnight sun. The Fly Box Come in and browse our collection of fly fishing necessities, fly rods and reels from Templefork Outfitters, and a unique collection of Alaskan-made gifts. Just off the Parks Highway at mile 69.7, turn right on Willow Station Rd. Over the tracks, past the Willow Trading Post, and we're on the left, one mile down. Stop in for the latest news and information. Cozy Cabin for rent. Save yourself the early morning rise and overnight with us. Complete with twin beds, refrigerator, microwave, cook stove, and quaint outhouse, it's just right for your overnight stay. |
